Meet the 3,400 pound Alaskan walrus, e.T. Who lives in Tacoma, Washington at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. E.T. was discovered as a pup by oil workers in his native waters and later brought to live at the zoo. Since then, he's become a star and the favorite attraction for many.
According to staff, "E.T. is named for his wrinkled resemblance to alien in the popular 1982 movie 'E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.'"
E.T. is one of 17 walruses in zoos across the country, and probably the only one with such a fun vocal range.
