Stay Informed, Subscribe To Weather Updates From The KTAB Team

By: Alex Hayes
Updated: July 31, 2012
During severe weather, social media plays a crucial role in getting the information behind watches and warnings out to the general public. Whether it's Facebook or Twitter, the KTAB Weather team prides themselves on keeping viewers informed on multiple platforms.

But if you've simply "liked" Sam, Monica, or Alex on Facebook, you may not be getting all the important information you need. In fact, only about 10-20% of updates actually make their way to your news feed.

Here in the Big Country, where severe storms can flare up in a matter of minutes, we want to make sure you have access to important weather updates as they change no matter what time it is. Which is why we've created an "Interest Group" on Facebook.

KTAB: Your Weather Authority

To make sure you're getting all updates posted by the KTAB team, follow the link above, or Click Here and "subscribe" to the list. Now, whether it's the A.M. with Monica Tassoni, the P.M. with Sam Nichols, or anytime in between with Alex Hayes, Big Country storm reports and important weather updates will always appear in your Facebook news feed.

To connect with your Weather Authority team on Twitter, follow the links below.
