When it comes to eating out in the Big Country, healthy options are few and far between. But there is a local deli hoping to change that in the Key City. With natural ingredients and zero trans fat, Jason's Deli promises quality and freshness in every entree.
The most popular entree for Jason's? According to Manager Casey Killborn, hands down is their salad bar.
"It's great, it's organic, a good majority of it are field greens, baby carrots, all that," explains Killborn.
And there's a new menu shaking things up at Jason's, growing in popularity each day due to a surge in health seekers and people suffering from gluten intolerance.
"There's tremendous opportunities that we have through our menus and offerings that are available at both delis and on our website as well," explains Killborn.
Killborn says despite any stigma, healthy eating at Jason's Deli doesn't a flavorless entree or bland salad.
"It's sensational," he describes, "very very healthy eating but also very tasty."
