By: The Catfish Institute Press Release
Updated: August 6, 2012
To celebrate National Catfish Month, The Catfish Institute (TCI) is once again giving away free copies of its cookbook, Fresh Ideas for U.S. Catfish.

Showcasing just how versatile U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish can be, the cookbook contains 28 recipes--from catfish chowder to catfish artichoke dip--and provides home cooks the freedom to experiment with virtually any flavor.

"Our cookbook allows consumers to prepare U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish in many different arrangements, featuring the flexibility of our mild-flavored fish. With 28 recipes, there is great room to explore and find variations of recipes for everyone's taste," said Roger Barlow, TCI president. "It's also important for consumers to remember that when they eat U.S. Catfish, they are getting a great-tasting, healthy fish, as well as supporting local farmers and the American economy."
