Officer Involved in RV Shooting Soon to Return to Work

The Early police officer who was fired at during the RV park shooting two weeks ago will be returning to work soon.

The officer was shot at several times before he fired back, and another man who lived nearby fired at the shooter, helping save the officer's life.
 
The Early Police Department said Wednesday that officer Steven Means will be back to work this week, and will undergo counseling, as well as a shooting review within the police department.

At this point, the shooting is being deemed a justified shooting and the case is still under investigation.
