An Abilene man will be providing some unusual entertainment at the main library in downtown Abilene later this month.

Ray Germany will be performing at the main library at North 2 and Cedar on Tuesday, August 21 from 4:45 until 6.

Germany plays an ancient woodwind instrument called a recorder which was popular in the Middle Ages.

He will be playing current songs on the instrument and some tunes that were typical at the time the instrument was invented.
