Boy Who Stabbed Sister Preparing For Transfer Hearing

You may remember the 13-year-old Abilene boy who stabbed and killed his little sister back in February of 2007. Well, now that 13-year-old is 18 and is back in the Taylor County jail after spending the last five years in the juvenile system.
   
18-year-old Paris Bennett was brought back to Taylor County this week to prepare for a transfer hearing in juvenile court.

At the hearing, they will decide if he is transferred to the adult system to continue serving his 40 sentence, or if he will be released.

The stabbing took place on the 800 block of Davis Street in south Abilene.

Back then, 13-year-old Paris Bennett called 911 after he killed his 4-year-old sister, Ella Bennett...
   
Paris will be in juvenile court next month.

Are you kidding me? 40 yrs or free? He killed his sister & she was 4! I'm not from here so don't know the "whole story" but what I've read here tells me I'd never let him out. He killed his own sister!
