The Abilene Association for Independent Business Owners met for their monthly meeting, and today's guest speaker was county judge Downing Bolls.
Since commissioner's are still in their budgeting process, Bolls wanted to answer any questions members had concerning this year's budget.
He spoke about the process the county goes through when making the budget, where funds are appropriated and why.
Now that the basic budget has been set, two public hearings will take place August 28 and September 11.
