"We are a big target, but we cant base a lot of things on that. We just have to do it game by game, and hopefully be the Munday Moguls we were last year," said Xavier Bulliner

Dewayne Castorena added, "We just go out there and play, not worry what people say, just go out there and play football."

For the Munday Moguls in 2012, the start of football season couldn't come fast enough.

"We've been looking forward to this since last December, so, the kids are working hard and they are enjoying themselves, and we are just looking to get started on Friday with Hawley in the scrimmage and seeing where we are at and where we need to go." says Head Coach Patrick Corcoran.

The Moguls received a lot of preseason praise after finishing last season as a State Runner-up. As flattering as that is. This team has only one thing in mind.

"We have to focus on our goals and take every game one by one. If we do that, then we will be where we want to be." adds Coach Corcoran.

"You know, we are ranked #1 this year and we really don't want to look at that. We want to go game by game, one game at a time, and do our best."

Seventeen seniors are returning to this Munday Moguls football team, and that brings a lot of experience and a lot of leadership. That's two things this team will need in order to be as successful as they were last year.

"You know, its senior year and we have to make the best of it. It's either all or nothing."

"Having the number that we do with 106 kids in high school, and we have 17 senior football players, that's over 10% of the high school, so, it means a lot and its going to help us out in our future, but its most important right now." Corcoran added, "Their leadership has been very good with the younger players and they've been working hard doing the things that are necessary."
