Shower and storm chances will be increasing this evening as a cool front starts to drop southwards. Lots of features in the atmosphere above are all coming together to produce these rain chances including some disturbances moving in through the northwest flow aloft, plus day time heating and outflow boundaries from other storms in the region.

The rain chances continue into to Sunday as the front tracks through the area and moves south of us. Additional storms could for on Sunday behind the front. I also think there's a good chance high temps don't get out of the 80s on Sunday! Then clearing and nice weather on Monday!

Your latest KRBC Weather Lab Forecast:

Tonight: Showers and storms some strong to severe with some pockets of heavy rain. Lows near 71.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, some rainstorms in the area. Cooler. Highs near 89.

Sunday night: Mostly clear and cool. Lows near 66.

Monday: Mostly sunny skies. High near 92.
