Sweetwater Changes Do Not Change Expectations

"Overall, just our outlook on how we are going to play this year, we are playing a lot more as a team and a lot more together as a brotherhood." Says Senior Nick Nemir.
"That's been nice for us coaches knowing that we can show up and get some work done and take care of business so it shows a lot of character in our kids and how hungry they are." Says Coach Mobley.
One of the biggest changes this year for the Mustangs will be the offense, which has turned more to it's passing game than its ground game.
"I think we've got a lot better receivers than we do runnings backs, and I feel we can catch the ball and take off that way more than we can run it through the line." adds Senior Kyle Lambert.
Expectations are higher this year for the Mustangs- but to get where they want to be, their first task will be to make their way through a very tough district.
"I know what we are going to get on Friday Night. I know that they are going to give everything they can against the Mustangs, and so our guys have to know right now that when we're in practice you have to get ready for that. That nothing is going to be handed to us in this district, and we have to prepare now for it." adds Mobley.
Sweetwater opens the 2012 season at home against Eastland on August 31st.
