Clyde was already up 13-7 in the second quarter when Tye Spears punched it in for a touchdown. After a failed two-point conversion the Bulldogs went up 19-7.
Whitney would pressure the Clyde defense with a Chad Hundley pass to Gavin Bean, but the Bulldogs would hold the Wildcats at the goal line.
The Wildcats would strike for a touchdown right before the half-time to cut into the margin, but the Bulldogs would pull out the victory in the second half 40-20.
