It was shop till you drop at the Civic Center this weekend, and the 19th Annual Peddlers Show saw a huge increase in shoppers this year.
The show feaured 54 vendors with clothing, jewelry, food and other items for sale, giving locals a chance to shop for the upcoming holidays in one spot. While the show was designed for convenience, It also gives shoppers a unique experience.
"Just really fun and unique. It brings a different feel to the community. Instead of going to the mall or the strip malls or anything, you can come here and find everything," explained event manager Emily Sutton. "And plus you get to meet all the vendors that makes the items and everything."
The Peddlers Show will be back in Abilene next September.
