The Anson Tigers are 1 of the biggest surprises early in the 2012 season.

Keith Woolf took over a program in Anson that didn't win a game in 2011. That has changed this year. Woolf's Tigers are off to a 3 and oh start with wins over Hamlin, Olney, and Jim Ned.

The Tigers 1st year in Class A has been a success, so far, but there is still work to be done in Jones County.

Coach Woolf said, "What we talked about with these guys is that we're not waiting for the future to start winning. We want to win right now, and that was big for these guys for them to know I'm in it with these guys. We're all bought in, and we're going right now. That's one of the reason the seniors have led us up to this point."
The Tigers D.J. Walker added, "We've just been working hard, and he asked us to buy in. And work hard with everything we do. Personally I like to take it every game like we're 0-0. Still playing the first game of the year. Keep working hard, and everything and never change a thing."

The Tigers try to maintain that unbeaten record tomorrow night. They make the trip south to take on Miles. That game starts at 7:30.
