"Bark in the Park" Draws in Owners and Canine Counterparts

Full of activities for dogs, and owners, the annual "Bark in the Park" event had everything a pooch might want, from free treats, to a
costume contest.
We spoke with one dog owner about what drew her into the furry festivities.
"I came out last year and I thought it was a really good time. There's a few things for the dogs to do, and it's also good socialization for the dogs. I really came today because I wanted to get the micro-chipping, I think its a fantastic idea", says Janelle O'Connell, owner of a young golden retriever.
There were also several activities for owners as well, like police demonstrations with canines, and even obedience training onsite.
