Three men are behind bars after an armed robbery in north Abilene Saturday night, thanks to a witness's keen eye and a confession.

It all started around 7:45 p.m., when police say the men held up the Radio Shack on N. 1st St. with a gun and got away with cash.

Police said a witness saw them running from that direction soon after and get into a car.

Officials were able to stop that car near N. 2nd and Treadaway, where they caught the men.

Police arrested 23-year-old Caleb Collier, 26-year-old Johnny Collier and 25-year-old Damon Russell for aggravated robbery.

According to a police report, Russell is an employee at the Radio Shack, and confessed to detectives about organizing the holdup.

All three men are being held on a $50,000 bond.
