"We've actually played Wall every year, and sometimes twice a year. We've met them in the playoffs before. So, we've looked at what worked for us last time, and things that didn't work so well for us.Tried to adjust those things, and hopefully have a good plan for Friday night," said Head Coach Kieth Mullins.
"It just makes us want to work harder. It gives us more drive because we know we've seen them in the past. We know we want to beat them now like they have before. It's not necessarily about revenge, but it's about wanting to strive and go farther," said Jonathan Cuellar.
"It's the second season now. It doesn't matter who you played before or what your record is, if you've played those guys before or if you beat those guys before. They've certainly gotten better as a team since eight weeks ago. We've feel like we've gotten better in a lot of areas," said Mullins.
Both Wall and Merkel appear to be playing their best football when it counts. Regardless one of their seasons will end when the two meet Friday night.
