Friday will be rather pleasant with lighter winds, sunny skies, and temperatures making their way back into the low 60s by the afternoon.
Friday night will be mostly clear and temperatures should end up being about 10 degrees warmer than last night, getting down into the mid 30s.
Saturday will be the start of a great weather weekend with temperatures getting into the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies.
Sunday, temperatures will get back into the 70s for a day.
A gradual cooldown is expected for early next week,
Monday, Christmas Eve, should see temps falling back into the low 60s, and then on Christmas Day they will fall into the low 50s.
If you live in the northern most counties such as Kent, Knox, Haskell and King, there is the potential to see some precipitation Christmas Day into the 26, and it may be in the form of snow, however, Abilene should stay dry.
Then temperatures in the 40s on the 26 and past that temperatures should begin to slowly warm again.
