Man Stabbed and Mugged in Abilene

An Abilene man was stabbed and mugged while walking to a nearby convenience store.

According to police reports, the victim was walking along the 3100 block of Grape Street on Thursday night when a vehicle pulled up next to him and three or four unknown suspects jumped out and assaulted him with a knife.

The suspects reportedly took his wallet and wrist watch.

The victim did not immediately seek medical attention or notify the police, but went to Hendrick Medical Center for cuts on his neck and back.

He does not wish to press charges.
