Dyess Civilian Arrested for Online Solicitation of Minor

The Taylor County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested a man who is a base exercise physiologist for a second degree felony of online solicitation of a minor under the age of 14.

47-year-old James Goodman was arrested just before 2:00 Thursday afternoon after he traveled to a location in northwest Abilene for the intended purpose of having sexual relations with the minor.
   
According to investigators, Goodman communicated in a "sexually explicit manner" with the female victim who he knew to be under the age of 14.
 
Goodman is currently being held in the Taylor County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
