Lady Mustangs Fall to Highly Ranked Lubbock Cooper

The unranked Sweetwater Lady Mustangs fell Friday night to a highly
ranked Lubbock Cooper squad in the bi-district round of the playoffs.
The Lady Pirates got off to a fast start in the first quarter. First with a basket by Taylor Parr to get them on the board, and a little bit later with a three-pointer by Katy Boren. That would push Lubbock Cooper out to a quick 13-0 lead.
Suede Shirley got the Lady Mustangs on the board with a lay-up following a steal, but in the end it wouldn't be enough to knock off Lubbock Cooper.
The Lady Mustangs season would come to an end with a 74-37 loss in Post.
