The Eagles cut a lead that was once 17 down to 5 in the 4th quarter, but they were unable to complete the comeback against El Paso Bel Air on Tuesday night.
Bel Air raced out to that 17 point lead thanks in large part to Jordan Enriguez, who was a nightmare for the Eagles to stop.
Gabriel Chacon helped to power the Eagles effort to get back in the contest. He hit 2 key 3-pointers in the 4th quarter to fuel the offense, but it was too little too late.
Abilene High finishes the season with a 22-9 record.
