Surprise, Arizona - The Texas Rangers today announced that four players have agreed to terms on one-year contracts for the 2013 season. No further terms were disclosed.

The four are pitcher Josh Lindblom and outfielders Engel Beltre, Julio Borbon, and Craig Gentry. All 40 players on the major league roster are now under contract for 2013.

Lindblom was acquired from Philadelphia on December 6 in the deal that sent infielder Michael Young to the Phillies. The righthander was 3-5, 3.55 in 74 appearances with the Dodgers and Phillies in 2012.

Beltre was with Double-A Frisco last season, batting .261 with 13 homers and 55 RBI in 133 games. Borbon spent all of 2012 at Triple-A Round Rock, hitting .304 with 10 homers and 56 RBI in 126 games. Gentry batted .304 with one homer and 26 RBI over 121 games in his first full season with Texas.

Texas will open Cactus League play on Friday against the Kansas City Royals at 1:05 p.m. MT at Surprise Stadium. Lefthander Derek Holland will start versus Kansas City LHP Will Smith.
