The Lady Pirates season came to an end Friday night in the Region One semi-finals against Garden City.
The Lady Kats were already up 27-7 at halftime and didn't let up in the second half. A Hannah Halfmann three-pointer would help get the Lady Kats going.
A short time later Kamie Halfmann drove to the lane, got the bucket, and a foul to pick up the three-point play the old-fashioned way.
By the end of the game Garden City would run out to a 45-9 victory and advance to the Regional Finals against Highland Saturday afternoon at Moody Coliseum.
