The Big Country along and north of Interstate 20 received mainly light snow this afternoon as the back side of an upper level low pivoted through the area.  Winter weather advisories were issued for a short time but were cancelled early thanks to the loss of snow.  No more snow is expected this week, even though systems will be passing through, cool air will dominate our seven day forecast and north wind will prevail all week long.  Normal highs for this time of year are in the low 60's... it will be Saturday before we get back to approaching normals highs.  Overnight lows will also be well below normal for the end of February.  Upper 20's will be common this week.  Afternoon highs in the middle 50's.  Dry weather is forecast through early next week as dry cold fronts pass through every couple of days.
