String of Overnight Car Burglaries

Abilene police are looking into a string of overnight car burglaries.
Residents of a few south Abilene apartments report waking up to find their cars ransacked with missing items.
Police tell us so far six car burglaries have been documented. The Reserve and Indian Run apartments near the mall were hit.
One victim reported her car was stripped of all of her belongings.
Abilene police want to remind everyone to lock their doors, as unlocked vehicles are often the first targets in crimes like these.
The investigation continues.
