breaking news
Last day in the 50's this afternoon, before a
warm up comes this weekend. A cold
front will move through the Big Country this afternoon, keeping us a couple
degrees below average. Highs will be in
the 50's in the Big Country and around 60 degrees in the Heartland. Factor in the wind and it will feel a little
bit colder. Wind speeds will be
anywhere between 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25. Partly cloudy skies are expected today, but mostly sunny skies
will prevail tomorrow. By Sunday
afternoon, high pressure will be to our east, and our winds will start to come
out of the south, pumping in some much welcomed warmer air. Highs on Saturday will be in the 60's, and
on Sunday we'll be in the 70's. Another
strong cold front moves through Monday afternoon.
