Frontier Texas! is one of Abilene's main attractions. For months, its been under construction in preparation for a new exhibit.

Late last year, they closed their doors on an exhibit that's been a staple for years. Host Matthew Torres visited Jeff Salmon from the museum as they take care of last minute touches.

New features include an interactive system with a touch-screen that allows visitors to get in-depth information of its history. Additionally, they advanced technology with HD screens, new artwork, and artifacts as you go through the exhibit.

The grand opening starts at 10 a.m. on March 2nd, Texas Independence Day.
