Breckenridge is getting ready for a city-wide cleanup project.

City leaders are asking the people to trim bushes and trees and help make the community more beautiful.

The city workers will bring in a chipper to dispose of the branches beginning March 25.

City officials are also planning to bring in big garbage bins April 19 and 20. The big bins will be at Erath Iron for people who are cleaning up their property.

City officials say there were about 200 old cars that should be hauled away and City workers have removed most of them.

The cleanup is a partnership between the city and community organizations to make the city look better.
