New Summer Camp For Younger Age Group

By: Brendaliss Gonzalez
Updated: March 5, 2013
A new summer camp in the Key City will be accepting children this year, but it's one for an age group normally not included in other programs.

Summer steps is a new program that's specifically geared toward children ages three to six.

It will be held at Broadview Baptist Church located on S. 27th st. in Abilene.

Staff there say they want to provide a learning environment for kids in this age group that's usually not available.

The 11-week camp begins June 4.

It will focus on teaching kids a Biblical based curriculum two days a week.

Anyone can sign up for the program at the Summer Steps program website.
