Eagles Finish 3-0 in AISD Baseball Tournament

The Abilene High Eagles wrapped up a the AISD Baseball Tournament with a win over El Paso Del Valle on Saturday morning.

The victory also came against AHS head coach Scottie Sanchez's brother, O'Neill Sanchez, who coaches Del Valle.

Early in Saturdays game, the Eagles found themselves down to the Conquistadors 3-1. Then Abilene High put together a big inning.

A hit by Nate Kittley would drive in Payton Coffman to tie the game at 3-3. A short time later Michael Zullo would drive home Kittley with a big base hit.

By the end of the inning, the Eagles would put seven runs on the board. That would help them pick up a 12-5 victory over El Paso Del Valle.

Abilene High would finish the tournament at 3-0 and sit tied at the top with Wichita Falls Rider.
