By the bottom of the third inning, Wylie was already down 7-2. Then the Bulldog's bats came alive.
After scoring three runs, a shot by Blake Frampton into left-center would drive home another run to get Wylie within one.
In the top of the inning a double-play started by senior shortstop Garrett Martin would end the inning, and get the Bulldogs back to the plate.
Wylie would once again find their way across home plate. A hit down the left-field line by Spencer Reyes would drive in two runs, and give the Bulldogs a 10-7 advantage.
Wichita Falls would outscore Wylie by two runs the rest of the way, and come back to pick up a 15-14 victory.
