Commercial Real Estate Sales up in Abilene

By: BCH News Staff
Updated: March 11, 2013
While empty billboards and buildings seem bleak, the same can't be said for the commercial real estate market.

Realtors say the uptick in the housing market has caused the same to happen in the commercial market, with more buyers in the last year or so.

More locals are looking to buy buildings to start their own businesses, or business owners are looking to expand or upgrade.

Though the cause isn't known for sure, the realtors say it's been an active year.

The more commercial real estate being bought and built also means more jobs for the Key City.
