Definitely less bitter cold this morning as temperatures are well above freezing. Today, we are watching a cold front diving down from the north. The good news is that this cold front is very weak and should essentially change nothing from yesterday with temperatures expected to get right around the 70 degree mark under blue skies.

Tonight we will be similar to last night with a comfortable start and temperatures dipping down to near the 40 degree line.

Tomorrow we will have plenty more sunshine and temperatures peaking at 70 degrees yet again.

With winds finally shifting to the south and the sunshine warming us up, temperatures should finally begin to climb by Thursday as it's looking like we will get to the upper 70's.

Friday more warming with the ridge or warm weather building in and setting up temperatures to make their way into the low 80's with mostly sunny conditions.

Another day in the 80's, possibly the mid 80's for Saturday as Saint Patrick's Weekend gets under way.

The Irish holiday on Sunday will be a few degrees colder as we  watch a cooling trend, but still peaking in the 70's.

The Storm Prediction Center has The Big Country in an area with a risk for a "non-severe" thunderstorms tonight. As far as numbers go, I'm going with a 30% chance across the area for showers/t'storms. Remember, some of these could pulse up and reach severe levels, with the greatest concerns being large hail and damaging winds. Tomorrow, we'll have a 20% chance for showers/t'storms, once again.
KTAB PM Forecast: Monday, May 13, 2013

It'll be breezy and sunny tomorrow, but we'll have some isolated showers and thunderstorms developing late tomorrow afternoon and overnight into Wednesday.  I'm forecasting a 30% chance for precipitation, but not expecting a widespread soaking rain event (unfortunately).  Highs tomorrow will be around 85, with southerly winds 10-15mph, gusting to 25mph at times.  We'll hold on to a 30% chance for precipitation on Wednesday and 20% for Thursday night. Temperatures will begin to climb, and we'll hit the 90-degree mark by Thursday or Friday.
