Hundreds of residents at the Abilene State Supported Living Center now have a new piece of technology available just around the corner, and it's all thanks to one very close foundation that donated the funds to help

It's a new chapter in radiology at the Abilene State Supported Living Center.

An impressive state of the art "digital imaging suite" has been added to the large facility, and it's already proven its efficiency to both the residents and employees.

This means that the time it takes to diagnose a patient has been significantly cut down from one week, to just under an hour. But none of it could've been possible without one well known volunteer known as Clara G. Campbell.

The Campbell Foundation contributed 50 thousand dollars towards the new digital imaging suite. In return, their seniors building has now been renamed the Clara G. Campbell center, in honor for her life's work to the Abilene Volunteer Services Council and the Campbell Foundation.

Many of Clara's family and friends flew in to Abilene for the dedication ceremony and say it was an honor to see her name continue living a legacy.
