The Bangs Dragons kept their hot start to the season going with a win over Ballinger on Thursday afternoon.

The Bearcats would strike first when Ely Self grounded into a fielder's choice. That would drive in Dustin King to give Ballinger an early 1-0 lead.

Bangs would respond though. With runners on the corners, Josh Beckwith would fly-out to center field. That would allow Jacob Beckwith to score on the sacrifice, and the throw to home plate.

In the second inning the Bearcats would get two more runners on base, but Cameron Deal would strike out the side to end the Ballinger threat.

Bangs would eventually pull away from the Bearcats and pick up the 11-3 victory.
