It happened just after three in the afternoon, when a car failed to yield while crossing FM 707.
The vehicle was then hit by a white Tahoe that was heading north on 1750. That collision caused the red Jetta to crash into a Sequioa that was stopped in the left lane, waiting to turn onto FM 707.
The driver of the red Jetta was a 16-year girl. She had to be cut out of the car and rushed to the hospital.
Her mother, the passenger, was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
