AISD to Hold Board Meeting Monday Night

The Abilene Independent School District is holding their regular board meeting Monday night.

In the regular agenda, the board will request a waiver forgiving student absences for the day following the Sandy Hook tragedy in Connecticut.

The board will be reviewing in closed session the performance evaluation for Superintendent Dr. Burns.

Also in closed session, the board will continue discussion of the vacant seat on the school board.
