Lady Bulldogs Come Up Just Short Against Monahans

The Wylie Lady Bulldogs were unable to rally against the Monahans Lady Loboes on Tuesday afternoon.
Heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, Wylie found themselves down by two runs. They were able to pick up one of the runs, and get the score to 5-4 heading to the seventh inning.
In the final frame, pitcher Olyvia Hamilton was able to keep the Lady Loboes from scoring by forcing a hitter to ground back to the mound.
That gave Wylie a shot at a comeback in their final at-bat. Then Monahans pitcher Adriana Flores would retire the Lady Bulldogs in order.
Monahans would hold on for a 5-4 victory.
