What Maria Gonzalez says she found in her food when she went to Lin's Buffet, a Chinese restaurant in El Paso, last Friday night made her lose her dinner.

"I took a closer look and i saw its tail and i started throwing up," Gonzales said.  What made her even more angry was the manager's reaction.

"He gave me my money back. He just wanted me to leave. I asked him for a to go box and he said to just take the plate and leave."

The manager told KFOX the woman might have put the mouse on the food herself.

"It's a health issue and no one is doing anything about. The manager just told us to leave and to not tell anyone," said another customer who was on her way in as Gonzales was on her way out.

Lin's Buffet has a long history of violations.  According to the health department's web site, in a period of eight  months, Lin's failed six unannounced inspections by food inspectors.

This past weekend, food inspectors showed up after someone reported the mouse incident.  Onspectors didn't find any presence of rodents but Lin's failed the routine inspection once again.
