5:15pm Update:
Roderick Turner turned himself in to police Thursday afternoon, hours after Abilene Crime Stoppers sent out an alert calling for information that would lead to his arrest.

 2:30pm Update:
Abilene Crime Stoppers hopes someone turns in a man suspected of stealing dozens of rings from J. Shea Jewelers.

Police say Roderick Lee Turner, 22, walked into the jewelry store last week and asked to see a ring, then walked out with it.  According to the police report, the suspect returned to the store later in the day and again asked to look at the rings.  Recognizing him, employees called 9-1-1 and took out an entire tray of rings to show him while waiting for police to arrive.

Turner is suspected of then taking off with the entire tray, 25 rings in all.  Two rings were later recovered in the parking lot.  The estimated value is $102,000.

Turner is wanted for Felony Theft with a bond set at $75,000.  Crime Stoppers is offering a $250.00 reward for information that leads to his arrest.
