With February 12th celebrated as Darwin's Day the Discovery Center is hosting an Uncelebration to teach people what they say is the truth behind evolution. "Most people thing evolution is just about dinosaur bones...and it is partly about that, but the core issue about darwinism is atheistism," says Carolyn Walden assistant to the director at The Discovery Center. Before the film plays, the 2008 Miss Arlington, Austen Brown, will speak on Intelligent Design which served as her platform during the 2008 Miss Texas pageant. While "Darwin's Deadly Legacy" is considered an educational video, the Discovery Center warns it might be unsuitable for elementary age children. You can see "Darwin's Deadly Legacy" Friday night at seven o'clock at the Radford Auditorium at McMurry University. This movie is seen free of charge.
