It happens all across the nation and you've heard it in the national media many times, students are bullying each other physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Over 5.7 million youths in the US are involved in bullying whether it's being bullied or being a bully themselves.

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes and can be female or male and of a wide range of ages.

Lee Elementary School hosted "The Beginning of a Proactive Bully Prevention and More program" to encourage students to avoid being mean bullies to each other.

Host Jim Lord says bullying can occur in many ways and we need to teach our children at a young age.

Students say they enjoyed the program and will think twice about doing things to hurt others.

The program was sponsored by State Farm Agents, and schools around the Big Country including areas like San Angelo can call State Farm and have the program in their schools.
