Peanut Recalls

 For weeks we've been hearing of products recalled due to the salmonella found in a Georgia peanut plant, and the food and drug administration has urged consumers to avoid products that contain peanut paste in items like crackers, cookies, ice cream and peanut butter sold to institutions and restaurants. The recall has put all the nation's food and drug safety programs under intense scrutiny.
