Updated: February 9, 2009
Over the weekend, Officer Thompson contacted a 17 year old hispanic male in the 3600 block of Sayles in reference to a suspicious subject call. As Officer Thompson spoke with the subject, he could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the suspect. During the investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana and beer and was arrested for both offenses.

Sgt Baird stopped a vehicle in the 3000 block of Pine. The vehicle was driving without headlights and pulled out in front of an ambulance, almost causing a collision. The driver, a 58 year old white female, was intoxicated and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
