Free Heart Health Screenings Thurs.

Hendrick's Heartsaver Network is offering free health screenings Thursday, designated "A Day to Take Heart."  Heart disease is the main cause of death in the United States.

On Feb. 12 there will be free screenings, information and consultations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Shelton Building at Hendrick.  Cardiac nurses and diabetic educators will handle the consultations.

Screenings offered include:
  • cholesterol
  • glucose
  • blood pressure
  • body mass index measurements
  • cardiac risk assessment
  • hearing
  • lungs
