APD: Dope and Too Much Booze

 On Wednesday, at about 5:53 P.M., Officer Brown stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Lexington. While Officer Brown spoke with the driver, he smelled the odor of burning marijuana coming from the vehicle. During the subsequent investigation, the suspect, a 19 year old black male, was found to be in possession of marijuana, as well as crack cocaine, and was arrested.

At about 2:25 this morning, Officer Thompson responded to a disturbance call in the 700 block of Marsalis. Officer Thompson contacted a 22 year old white male who was intoxicated and a danger to himself. The subject was arrested for Public Intoxication.
