A majority of Abilene Cops cruise around in Police cars, but one officer is switching it up.

Officer, Tyson Kropp, is trading in his four wheels for two.

After training on his new bi-wheel vehicle, Kropp, will become the fourth Abilene Officer to cruise the streets on a Motorcycle.

Officer Kropp is no rookie when it comes to street bike cruising, but these motorcycles handle a bit differently.

"Because its a lot more aggressive riding than most people do," Kropp comments, "and you have to learn to turn a lot more aggressively than you ever will on the street."

The training course helps prepare Officers for what they will encounter on the road.

"We're trying to make it real life situations," states Traffic Division Officer, Terry Monroe, "with cones representing curbs, cars, and anything we might encounter on the street."

There is no date for when Kropp will complete the training courses, but it won't be long before he is cruising the streets of Abilene.
