Friends and family members of the Abilene woman who died in a hit and run accident earlier this week gathered for her funeral.

The service was conducted at the Piersol-Benton funeral home in downtown Abilene.

33-year-old, Heather Ince, was killed when the bicycle she was riding was struck by a pickup on north Judge Ely Boulevard just after midnight Tuesday morning.

Several people gathered to offer their condolences to the family and pay their final respects to the young woman.
