A Big Country man has developed a unique method of training horses built around trust, love, and understanding.  Alan Mooney lives in Ovalo, and believes that it is important to develop a partnership with your horse, rather than demand behavior from the animal.  His program is called Horsebusters.

Alan does not use spurs or whips in training horses, but spends a lot of time bonding with the horses.  He tries to develop horses that are "centered" and in control of their emotions at all times.

Much of his training involves non-verbal communication between the trainer and the horse.  By the use of mutual body language, Mooney feels the partnership between horse and human can be strengthened.

Alan's web site is http://www.horsebusters.com/
